Common sense AT LAST! Remoaners blasted for branding Brexiters racist…by EQUALITIES boss

In an extraordinary outburst the Equality and Human Rights Commission slammed the demonisation of people who voted to leave the European Union, saying people did so with Britain’s best interests at heart. 

The powerful watchdog urged politicians on both sides of the EU divide tone down their rhetoric, warning that hostility was polarising Britain and fuelling a rise in hate attacks.

In a letter to the main political parties, the commission said: “We are concerned that attacks on supporters of both sides of the Brexit debate have polarised many parts of the country. There are those who used, and continue to use, public concern about immigration policy and the economy to legitimise hate.
