Jeremy Corbyn sat on a train floor to suffer alongside commuters on a three-hour journey with nowhere to sit and it basically confirmed everyone’s pre-existing view of him.
His uncomfortable plight was filmed for his campaign as he bemoaned the lack of trains and made the case for re-nationalising the railways.
He asks: “Is it fair that I should upgrade my ticket whilst others who might not be able to afford such a luxury should have to sit on the floor?
“It’s their money I would be spending after all.”
But Tweeters seemed too entrenched in their view of Corbyn either way to budge and the clip only confirmed everyone’s suspicions no matter how different they are.
His failure to pre-book a seat for free ahead of his three-hour journey to Newcastle for the hustings with Owen Smith confirmed the view he was incompetent.
