MPs Prepared To Vote Against Article 50 To Prevent Un-Democratic ‘Stitch-Up’

Dozens of MPs from at least three political parties are preparing to vote against Article 50, it has been reported.

The BBC spoke to members of the Lib Dems, Labour and the Northern Irish SDLP who said they would vote against the formal terms of Brexit if no second referendum was offered.

Former Labour leadership candidate Owen Smith, ex minister David Lammy, and shadow ministers Daniel Zeichner and Catherine West have all said they would oppose Article 50, despite Labour pledging not to do so.
