A man inside the property told of the terrifying moment the thugs forced their way through the back door into a room where the group of children were sat eating cake.
The 55-year-old, who asked not to be named, said the masked men then demanded drugs and money.
He told the EDP: At first we thought it was a joke or something, we just didn’t process it.
“I just said ‘what are you on about, there’s nothing here’.”
The gang “seemed unsure of themselves” after realising they had got the wrong address, the man said.
He added: “The big one ran out and I just started saying to the others, ‘get out, I don’t know what you’re talking about, you’ve got the wrong address’.
“The little one wouldn’t leave so I pushed him out of the back door, but he had his arm still inside with the blade trying to slice me.
“It was all over in seconds. I was just on automatic really and thinking about it now how lucky we all were that nobody got stabbed or hurt.”
