As doubt remains over how Britain will ultimately pull out of the bloc, a throwback session of Prime Minister’s Questions from November 2016 has reemerged, in which Mrs May argued in favour of keeping the details of her strategy secret.
After being attacked by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn for not having a “clear” strategy on Brexit, the Prime Minister explained why her Government was unwilling to reveal any specific plans.
She said: “Of course those in the European Union who we will be negotiating with will want us to set out, at this stage, every detail of our negotiating strategy.
“If we were to do that, it will be the best possible way of ensuring that we got the worst result for this country.
