Two police officers suffer broken bones after bricks and bottles thrown at illegal west London party

Footage circulating on social media showed dozens of officers retreating from the estate as large crowds of youths advanced on them in the streets.

Scotland Yard said no arrests had yet been made, although inquiries are underway.

Detective Chief Inspector Luke Wyllie, who is investigating the incident, said police were in the process of identifying those involved in the violence and disorder.

“We are yet to make arrests, however enquiries are well underway and we will not allow those intent on causing harm get away with this behaviour,” he said.

“There is an increased policing presence this weekend and officers will be out providing reassurance to the local community.”
