Liverpool are back in Champions League group stage action with a mouthwatering all-British affair with Rangers.

The Reds have had a difficult season to date, with just two wins from seven matches leaving Jurgen Klopp’s men stuck in ninth place in the Premier League.

And Liverpool haven’t fared much better in their European fixtures, collapsing to a 4-1 defeat away to Napoli in the opening group game before requiring a late winner to edge past Ajax in their second match.

Rangers have struggled on their return to Europe’s top table for the first time in 12 years, with defeats in both of their opening group games to Ajax and Napoli.

The Scottish giants were beaten 4-0 in Amsterdam, before succumbing to a 3-0 defeat against the Italians at Ibrox.

Here is your brief ahead of the match.
