NASA Mars Rover DEAD: Is Mars Opportunity Rover dead? What will happen to robot?

If there’s no response by Wednesday then Opportunity will be declared dead – 15 years after it arrived at there red planet.

NASA will issue an update on Opportunity’s status on Wednesday at 2pm EST (7pm GMT).

Agency science chief Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine, Opportunity project manager John Callas and mission principal investigator Steve Squyres will all feature in the press conference later today.
