Vauxhall, Shephard’s Bush, Stratford, Battersea and Earlsfield would all be submerged.

According to Marshalls, the flooding would be the result of rising sea tides and inundating drainage systems.

Due to the concentrated buildup in these tourists hotspots, up to 95 percent of rainfall finds its way into drainage systems.

These can overflow and cause flooding in these coastal cities.

The US space agency NASA has warned global sea levels have already risen by eight inches since records began in 1880.
