The researchers asked people to describe what they thought about snacks with fictive names. Half of these (like Iskee, Keesee, Kitsip, and Spisiki) were expected to be seen as “smaller”, while the other half (Bromogaw, Gawdoe, and Gobo) were designed to sound “bigger”.
