NASA asteroid horror: Radars track potential impact date in May 2022 with 230 kiloton rock

Thankfully, the NASA-tracked asteroid is not big enough to unleash devastation on this scale.

Based on the space agency’s calculations, the rock is flying around the system at speeds of around 23.92km per second or more than 53,500mph (86,112kph).

At the point of impact, the asteroid would speed up to about 26.39 km per second or 59,032mph (95,004kph).
