The US space agency revealed its satellite images snapped by the Operational Land Imager (OLI) on Landsat 8, on January 23, 2019.
The frightening photo shows deep cracks running across the colossal ice shelf.
Dubbed “The Halloween Crack”, scientists first observed the worrying damage in late October 2016.
The crack has since pushed its way eastward, increasing the amount of ice, which will break off.
