On July 25, SpaceX successfully completed the first untethered test of the Starship’s Raptor engines.
Dubbed the Starhopper after its diminished stature and series of small flights or hops, the spacecraft rose by about 65.6ft (20m) and moved to the side before landing.
The following day, July 26, Mr Musk wrote on Twitter a “200m hop” would follow in a “week or two”.
Once completely assembled, the Starship Mk1 in Texas and Starship Mk 2 in Florida could one day fly humans to the Moon and Mars and beyond.
