Peep Show Remake With Female Leads Is In The Works, Confirms Original Show’s Creator

There have already been three attempts to remake Peep Show for a US audience, but none have managed to make it past the pilot stage.

Airing from 2003 to 2015, the original Peep Show made stars of Robert Webb and David Mitchell, while also helping to launch the career of Oscar winner Olivia Colman.

Sam previously discussed how difficult it is to get a remake off the ground, telling Digital Spy: “I think adaptations to America are really hard. 

“The exceptions – the ones that work, like The Office – are much more rare, because you’re trying to change a show and keep it the same at the same time, which is quite weird.”
